Types of Bridge Interfacing
Adhesive Bridge Interfacing
It is fixed to the fabric with heat and pressure. It is the most preferred type in mass production.
Sewn (Non-Adhesive) Bridge Interfacing
Contains no adhesive, fixed with stitching. Used in delicate and heat-sensitive fabrics.
Woven Bridge Interfacing
Provides high durability and shape retention due to its woven structure. Preferred in jackets and coats.
Nonwoven (Felt) Bridge Interfacing
Lightweight and flexible. Used in shirts, blouses, and lightweight fabrics.
Knitted Bridge Interfacing
Compatible with stretchy fabrics. Preferred in t-shirts and knitwear.
Thin Bridge Interfacing
Provides light support, does not disrupt the natural drape of the fabric.
Thick Bridge Interfacing
Used in areas requiring stiffness and strong form.
